Each practice pad includes 65 pages, covers the basic tools and how-to's, practice drills, lowercase alphabet and uppercase alphabet, connecting letters into words, and words into phrases. It features 6 modern calligraphy styles to practice with.
The practice pads are printed on beautiful tried and tested calligraphy practice paper, FSC-certified and spiral bound on the top for easy tearing. Intended to be used with a pen, pointed nib, and sumi ink.
Not suitable for fountain pen or fountain pen inks.
This practice pad is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed writers.
Each pad is 8.5x11 inches, and about 0.5 inches thick.

I just started my calligraphy journey...again, after trying and failing years ago. These books are great for tracing and practicing to get the muscle memory needed to master the art form which was something I certainly lacked in my first attempt at this. So glad I found Karla and her products! Not a moment too soon and its never too late to learn (or try again) a new hobby! Oh, and Karla had said in her product video that the emboss and foil words on the book covers were just her being "extra"! To that I say, KEEP BEING EXTRA GIRL! These books look beautiful and presentation matters!

These books took me three months to complete. They're packed with sooo much practice. Beautifully laid out. I love that you have different styles in these books. I also love the numbers and symbols which is included in the uppercase pad.
