The Dual Purpose Calligraphy Pen is our hand-turned solid maple convertible oblique pen with a brass flange and a tapered end. It is designed with an ergonomic shape for comfort. The removable brass flange allows for easy conversion to a straight pen. The pen holder fits a Nikko G and other similar-sized nibs. Nibs are not included.

This pointed nib holder is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed writers.

We wanted a great beginner pen that was light on the hand, but with the flexibility of switching between straight and oblique. That’s one of the things we love about this wooden lightweight pen! Our flange is also flexible, so you can adjust it to most pointed pen nibs. It's both pretty and practical. Made specifically for modern calligraphy.
