Advent in the Summer?!

School is winding down for my son and he and I have been planning his summer because it seems like this is going to be our last summer just him and I - next year, my daughter will be joining him. From hikes to bike rides and outdoor adventures, to doing some studying and learning, I asked him if this would be the summer he would be learning lettering, for real. I told him he could learn brush lettering first, as it is a little bit easier to go through, and with our Brush Calligraphy Advent Calendar, it's literally a day-by-day project, with an accompanying 10 minute instructional video.

What's in the Calendar?

Well, it's really an all-in-one package. It has 24 doors that you can open, day by day, with 24 booklets. Each booklet has instructions on how to write each letter in lowercase and uppercase, then you have traceable worksheets, into words that feature common letter transitions, and then into a short quote/verse. It includes 2 flexible brush pens in green and red!

Video Walkthroughs

While you might not have me as your personal lettering tutor in real life like Chase will, you will have me in a video format through this calendar! I recorded a short video walking through how to write each letter and word in the booklets, so that you won't feel alone in this journey. The sleeve in the calendar also has written instructions on how brush lettering works.
