Retailer Spotlight: Paper Tree
A New Blog Series Featuring our Retailers
Finally it is happening, our own retailer spotlight! We have been wanting to do this for a while and we're so happy it came to fruition. With this series, we want to bring our retailers in the spotlight as we love their stores and would like to support them in any way we can. In each post we ask the shop owners to answer a couple of questions so we, and you, can know them a little bit better!
Our first retailer spotlight: Paper Tree
Paper Tree is a highly curated stationery store in Tokyo, Japan, run by Sakura Okamoto. For years, she has been bringing our products to her country and has been one of our biggest supporters. So, it only made sense for us to start with her and her Shop!
Can you tell us a bit about your store and what you sell?
How did you start your store?
What is unique about the store?
The store's selection is unique. It includes calligraphy items worldwide, a selection of designed WASHI papers, carefully-curated greeting cards, and items like sealing stamps, which make handwritten messages and letters more attractive.
What is your favorite color or items you love?
French Blue!
Anything else you would like to share?
Visit Paper Tree yourself!
We thank Sakura for kickstarting our Retailer Spotlight series, and I hope you enjoyed reading the first blog post. If you are in Tokyo, or planning to travel to the lovely city, please consider paying them a visit. I'm actually planning another visit in March 2025 after my last one in March this year. Something fun is in the works, so stay tuned for it if you happen to be in Tokyo around that time!
