Just like that, school is starting for us

The past few days have been a flurry of busy for us, as we wrap up summer and prepare for school. This year seems extra big, as Jasiel joins Chase at his school. On Friday, I asked the kids to give me a few hours as I try to sort out the hot lunch ordering and scheduling on my calendar, and the lunches I'd be making as well, while trying to accommodate both kids' preferences. Also had to make sure everything was ready before school started!

Late last year I also got myself a 3D printer, and for Jasiel's school year, I ordered the picture frame but wanted to personalize it with my calligraphy, so I 3D-printed the name and glued it on - love how it turned out!

I love going on hikes!

This summer I'm so grateful that we got to go outdoors a lot, and we ended it with a hike up Dog Mountain, which was also Jasiel's first "big" hike! She did so good in spite of the hike being quite muddy, rooty and slippery! So blessed to be able to enjoy the scenic view of the mountains, sea and city.

Ever since we split our inventory into US/Canada, we've disabled our best-selling Wax Seal Lovers Kit, which is an incredible beginner starter kit of making wax seals, complete with a glue gun and a silicon mat. It just became too complex to manage so many different SKUs, so we had to create a new system for them. Now, we've brought it back, but now you can build it yourself, especially with our new custom shape wax seals!
