Happy Friday! Wow, this week just truly flew by. It was a warm one for us here in Vancouver, which truly made running challenging for me as I usually run in the late mornings. But training in spite of the challenges has definitely been teaching me lots of life lessons, like perseverance and resilience. Why even learn calligraphy in this day and age?

What do you learn in the course
The Creative Calligraphy Course main objective is to teach you how to write in modern calligraphy, so that at the end of the course, you should be comfortable with the nib, ink and pen. It goes through the tools and techniques and how to use them, basic strokes, lowercase, uppercase, connecting letters, and applying these skills into simple projects.

The beauty about calligraphy as a hobby is that it is a skill that can be learned. It's not something that only artists can figure out. It has a base that you can build on, and with intentional time and practice, you can and will be able to write in calligraphy. Writing in calligraphy takes time, both for lefties and righties, as you learn to write with a new tool - but it's not impossible to learn. One stroke at a time, and truly, practice makes progress!
