When is the cutoff date?

You have until the 20th of each month to sign up in time for the following month’s Scribe mail. Scribe mails are sent out shortly after the cut off date each month. Sign ups made after the 20th of the month go towards the next month’s Scribe mail.

For example: If you subscribe on May 8th you will get June’s Scribe, and if you subscribe on May 25th you will receive July’s Scribe.

Where do you ship from?

We ship our Scribe letters from our Canada Studio, which means it will go through Canada Post.

How long does shipping take?

For Canadian Customers, it usually takes 3-7 business days for letters to arrive from when we post them.

For US Customers, it usually takes 5-10 business days for letters to arrive from when we post them.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, the Scribe subscription is not available outside US and Canada due to postage costs.

Is shipping included in the pricing of the subscription?

Yes, shipping is included in the subscription pricing. As these are lettermail, we manually put stamps on the envelopes for them to ship. For transparency, it costs $2.61 per letter for Canadian customers, and $4.29 per letter for US customers.

Scribe mail subscription cannot be combined with other items or orders.

Do you offer local pick-up?

For the Scribe Subscription, we will not be offering local pick-up.

Can I still purchase previous month's mail?

Yes, we will have a limited quantity of additional mail per month reserved in the archive. You can purchase them as long as they are available. Shop them in the Archive here.

What happens if my Scribe mail is lost, delayed, or damaged?

We are not liable for any lost or damaged mail when it is in the hands of Canada Post.

If your mailing address was provided incorrectly, the member is responsible for paying for the reshipment fee in order to reship their subscription mail.

Can I change my order, the shipping date, or delivery address?

You can make changes through your Customer Portal / Manage My Subscription that is in your email, as long as it is made before the cutoff date, which is the 20th of the month. After the 20th of the month, we will start packing and shipping the mail, which means we may not be able to change the information in time.

Can I exchange, return, or cancel my order?

The Scribe subscription is not eligible for return or exchange. We will do our best to pack and ship our letters to the best of our ability, but once it leaves our studio and goes into the hands of the post office, it is beyond our control.

You can cancel your subscription before the cutoff date, which is the 20th of the month.

Are the prices listed in $USD or $CAD?

Prices should reflect your country’s currency immediately. If this is not the case, you can change currencies by hitting the toggle button at the top right corner (desktop) or bottom left corner (mobile).

What payment methods are available?

We accept most credit cards, PayPal, and Afterpay. Please go through check-out to see what payment methods work best for you.

Why is my discount code not working?

The Scribe Subscription is currently setup to have no discount code to apply.

Can I order other things to go with my Scribe Subscription?

Scribe mail subscription cannot be combined with other items or orders. The Scribe letters leave from our Canada warehouse and goes via lettermail postage, therefore we cannot add other items to it. If an order includes another item, we will ask you to cancel it to create a separate order so that the items will be taken from the correct warehouse.
